Process for producing optically active (S) -3-phenyl-1,3-propanediol |
abstract |
(57) [Summary] [Objective] Optically active (S) -phenyl-1,3-propanediol can be efficiently obtained from 3-phenyl-1,3-propanediol. [Structure] An optically active (S) -phenyl-1,3-propane is obtained by allowing a microorganism belonging to the genus Serratia or genus Pseudomonas or a treated product thereof to act on a mixture of enantiomers of 3-phenyl-1,3-propanediol. Obtain the diol. |
