[Wherein R 1 represents hydrogen or halogen; R 2 represents dihalogen-substituted benzyl or methyl] [Effect] This method is useful as an aldo-reductase inhibitor spiro [isoquinoline-4 (1H), 3'-pyrrolidine ] It is an improved method useful for the synthesis of -1,2 ', 3,5' (2H) -tetron.
