titleOfInvention Sterilization method in space
abstract (57) [Abstract] [Purpose] To provide an in-situ sterilization method for efficiently and completely sterilizing in a short time with relatively low concentration of ozone. A sterilization method in a space, wherein the space is kept at a predetermined relative humidity for a predetermined time, and then an ozone-containing gas or the gas and a nitrogen oxide-containing gas are introduced and kept for a predetermined time. [Effect] By combining the humidifying treatment and the ozone treatment, the sterilizing effect is remarkable, and further, the sterilizing effect can be easily achieved. Moreover, the ozone can be sterilized in the space efficiently in a short time by the ozone having a relatively low concentration. Furthermore, by sharing a small amount of nitrogen oxides with ozone, the sterilizing effect is significantly improved as compared with the case where only ozone is treated.
