titleOfInvention How to repair neutralized concrete
abstract (57) [Summary] (Modified) [Purpose] Repair method for reinforced concrete structures and prestressed concrete structures using reinforcing bars and PC steel as reinforcements, especially concrete structures neutralized due to a decrease in alkalinity of concrete. To provide a repair method. [Structure] A steel material inside concrete is used as an internal electrode, an electrode installed on the surface of concrete is used as a surface electrode, and an electrolyte solution containing a corrosion inhibitor is present between the concrete surface and the surface electrode, A method for repairing neutralized concrete is characterized in that a direct current is passed between surface electrodes. [Effect] Since the pH of the neutralized concrete structure can be increased and the alkalinity of the concrete can be retained again, the immobilization film of the steel material can be reformed. Even when the concrete structure whose durability has been restored is neutralized again due to environmental conditions, the immobile body coating of the steel material is retained, and the phenomenon of rusting due to pH decrease of concrete can be prevented.
