abstract | (57) [Summary] [Objective] Reproducibility of high-definition images with improved electrostatic characteristics and image pick-up properties, especially liquid developer, and image pick-up property by scanning exposure method using low-power laser light. An excellent electrophotographic photoreceptor is provided. A resin which is a low molecular weight AB block copolymer composed of an A block containing a polar group-containing polymer component and a B block containing a polymer component of a repeating unit of the formula (I) as a binder resin. A polymer chain containing [A] and the polymer component (a) of the repeating unit of the formula (II) and the polymer component (b) containing a polar group is at least 3 in the organic molecule. An electrophotographic photoreceptor containing at least one star-type copolymer resin [B] each of which is bonded.
