titleOfInvention | Direct current discharge display tube and cathode manufacturing method thereof |
abstract | (57) [Abstract] [Purpose] Using a conductive oxide with high characteristics as the cathode material, Further, the present invention provides a method of manufacturing a direct current discharge display tube having increased brightness and contrast by imparting translucency and an inexpensive cathode thereof. [Structure] (1) The cathode is Ia, IIa, or II of the Periodic Table of the Elements A direct current discharge display tube comprising a conductive oxide containing at least one element selected from Group Ia, wherein the cathode has a thickness of 1 μm or less and is transparent. (2) One or more organometallic compounds containing at least one element selected from the groups Ia, IIa, and IIIa of the Periodic Table of Elements are dissolved in a solvent, coated on a substrate, dried, and fired to conduct electricity. A method for producing a cathode for a direct current discharge display tube, which comprises depositing a conductive oxide on a substrate. |
