titleOfInvention Nucleic acid base identification method
abstract (57) [Summary] [Object] The present invention provides a method for ultrafast discrimination of nucleic acid bases by utilizing a chromophore originally possessed by DNA. [Structure] According to the nucleobase discrimination method of the present invention, DNA is put into a glassy solvent to lower the temperature, a fluorescence enhancer is added to a glassy solution, and ultraviolet rays are irradiated to the fluorescence observed from the glassy solvent. The lifespan identifies the nucleobases that the DNA has. The glassy solvent is alcohol, or a mixture of alcohol and water, or a mixture of alcohol, ether, and acetone, and the fluorescence enhancer is a strong acid that does not have an absorption spectrum in the wavelength region of excitation light. Is desirable. By using the above method, DN The nucleobases in A can be distinguished at extremely high speed.
