abstract | (57) [Summary] [Purpose] Regarding a method for producing cast coated paper, a rewet cast coated paper which is free from uneven gloss and pinholes and which is extremely excellent in white paper gloss and printability which are features of cast coated paper. Provide an efficient method. [Structure] A base paper is coated with a water-based paint containing a pigment and an adhesive as a main component, and the coating layer is formed by drying. styrene· Acrylic acid copolymer 20 to 90% by weight and at least one of acrylamide monomer, acrylonitrile monomer, acrylic ester monomer, and acrylic acid monomer 10 ~ 80% by weight of a water-soluble polymer compound consisting of an alkali salt of a graft copolymer and a re-wetting liquid containing a mold release agent to moisten and plasticize it, then press it against a heated drum to give a strong gloss finish. A method for producing rewet cast coated paper. |
