(57) [Summary] (Modified) [Structure] In the oxidative hair dyeing method, a special metal / chelate complex (copper-II is preferable as the metal, and the chelating agent is 2,2'-bipyridyl and O-phenanthroline). A pretreatment, which comprises contacting the hair with an effective amount of an aqueous solution (from the group consisting of :) and then treatment with an oxidizing dye mixture. The efficiency of the oxidative dyeing process is increased without matching the oxidative dyeing rate of untreated hair with the normally inconsistent rate of treated hair, without reducing the intensity or type of resulting coloring. |
