[Configuration] The following formula (2) or (3) (Wherein R 3, R '3, R 4, R 6 is a as described later, R 7 represents an acyl group up to and including C 18 ) in the resolution of one racemic mixture of a compound, the selected compound may be hydrolyzed in either the (+) or (−) enantiomeric form of the compound. A substantially non-racemic form of the following formula consisting of the action of an esterase followed by separation of unhydrolyzed and hydrolyzed compounds A method for producing a furo [3,4-c] pyridine derivative of the formula (wherein R 3 and R ′ 3 , R 4 and R 6 represent various substituents) and a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.
