abstract | (57) [Summary] [Constitution] At an elevated temperature, an oxysalt of barium is reacted with a sulfur-containing species. The oxysalt of barium is selected from the group consisting of barium sulfate, barium perchlorate, barium nitrite, barium thiosulfate, barium oxalate, and barium salts of organic acids such as formic acid and acetic acid. The sulfur-containing species is at least one species selected from the group consisting of sulfur, ammonium sulfate, ammonium bisulfate, and ammonium pyrosulfate. [Effect] High-purity barium sulfate can be obtained. |
