Protein phosphatase inhibitor-1 gene and its expression |
abstract |
(57) [Summary] [Objective] To provide a mammalian proteinaceous inhibitor (PPI-1) gene that inhibits mammalian protein phosphatase-1 to prepare transformed cells and transgenic animals. [Constitution] Taking out the PPI-1 gene of rat muscle, It is incorporated into an expression vector by gene recombination. The extracted rat PPI-1 gene has approximately 516 base pairs and has about 80% amino acid homology with PPI-1 of other mammals. |
