abstract | (57) [Summary] (Modified) [Purpose] High sensitivity with a good charge generation layer that can be easily formed without being affected by the underlying layer. (EN) Provided is a photoreceptor in which a good image can be obtained and whose characteristics and image quality are stable for a long period of time. In a photoreceptor having a photosensitive layer formed by laminating a charge generation layer and a charge transport layer on a conductive substrate, a diphenoquinone derivative represented by the following structural formula (1) is added to the charge generation layer. It is contained within the range of not less than 80% by weight. [In the formula (1), R 1 to R 8 are hydrogen atoms, chlorine atoms, Fluorine atom, bromine atom, or any of the following straight-chain or branched alkyl groups having 1 to 20 carbon atoms, aralkyl groups, halogen groups, nitro groups, phenyl groups, alkoxy groups, and phenoxy groups .. ] |
