abstract | (57) [Summary] [Construction] A photosensitive member for holding an electrostatic latent image on the surface thereof and a non-magnetic sleeve having a magnetic toner on the surface thereof and having a magnet inside thereof are provided in a developing section of the magnetic toner layer. A frequency of 1K is set so that the photosensitive member and the sleeve are rotated in the same direction while holding a gap having a thickness equal to or larger than the thickness, and the electric field in the developing gap alternates between the image portion and the non-image portion. In the developing method performed while applying an alternating electric field of Hz or less, A developing method, wherein the magnetic toner is a thermal dissociation type capsule toner containing magnetic powder. [Effects] By using the jumping developing method in the present invention, development suitable for the heat dissociative capsule toner in the present invention can be carried out, and a developer having good printing quality and long life can be obtained. |
