Method for enzymatically synthesizing 2-deoxy-β-D-galactoside |
abstract |
(57) [Summary] [Structure] The present invention relates to a method for enzymatically synthesizing 2-deoxy-β-D-galactoside. The enzyme galactosyltransferase is the donor substrate uridine 5'-diphospho- It catalyzes the transfer of 2-deoxygalactose residues from 2-deoxy-D-galactose to terminal glucose in the presence of N-acetylglucosamine or aspartyl-N-acetylglucosamine or lactose. [Effect] It becomes possible to produce 2-deoxy-β-D-galactoside in a highly positionally and stereospecifically high yield. |
