titleOfInvention Thermal transfer recording material and thermal transfer recording method
abstract PURPOSE: To obtain an image of a heigh density hue which is rich in stability of the image and preferable in respect of reproduction of colour by a method wherein a layer containing a specific magenta pixel is provided on a base material. n CONSTITUTION: When a metallic ion is made to exist in an image receiving layer 2 of an image receiving material 3 consisting of a base material 1 and the image receiving layer 2, pixels as expressed by the formulas I, II in a thermosensitive layer 5 of a thermal transfer recording material 6 consisting of a base material 4 and the thermosensitive layer 5 are transferred by diffusion to the image receiving material 3 by, for example, the heat of a thermal head 7 to form a metallic chelate pixel in the image receiving layer 2. However, in the formula [I], A, B are bonded to an imidazole ring by carbon, nitrogen, sulfur or oxygen atom, G is a chelatable radical, and Z 1 together with two carbon atoms forms an aromatic carbon ring or a heterocycle. Further, in the formula [I], X represents -O-,-S-,-N= or -N(R')-, Z 2 together with two carbon atoms and X forms a five or sixmembered aromatic aromatic heterocycle ring, and m represents an integer of 0-3. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1992,JPO&Japio
