titleOfInvention Ion selective electrode and utilization thereof
abstract PURPOSE: To make measuring time reducible by impressing a pulse potential on an ion selective electrode before measuring the sample or after the measurement. n CONSTITUTION: In a sensitive p4art 1 or a high molecular supporting liquid film in-clusive of valinomycin, of a potassium-ion selective electrode 6, there is provided a pulse potential impressing part 2 giving a pulse potential to this sensitive part. A carrier solution is fed at a flow velocity of 20ml/min. with a conveying pump 7. Calibrating characteristic Lo, Hi solutions and a sample are fed at flow velocity of 20ml with another conveying pump 8. Potential impression to this electrode senssitive part is carried out with a potentiostat 10 in making a saturated sodium chloride calomel electrode a reference electrode 9. Measurement of this electrode takes place with the same reference electrode 9 via an amplifier 11 and a data collector 12 after the pulse potential impressed, and a waste solution is sent to a waste disposal tank 13. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1992,JPO&Japio
