abstract PURPOSE: To obtain the subject curable resin composition capable of producing a cured material excellent in chemical resistance, heat resistance, low hygroscopicity, etc., and suitable for the field of electric and electronic industries, etc., by blending an unsaturated group-containing polyphenylene ether resin with triallyl isocyanurate, etc., in a specified ratio. n CONSTITUTION: (A) An unsaturated group-containing polyphenylene ether resin synthesized by introducing side chains consisting of a functional group containing C=C bond and/or C≡C bond into a polyphenylene ether chain is blended with (B) triallyl isocyanurate and/or triallyl cyanurate and (C) a thermoplastic resin (e.g. polyethylene) so that (A) and (B) may be 98-40 pts.wt., preferably 95-50 pts.wt.; and 2-60 pts.wt., preferably 5-50 pts.wt. respectively based on 100 pts.wt. total quantity of (A)+(B) and so that (A)+(B) and (C) may be 90-10 pts.wt., preferably 75-30 pts.wt.; and 10-90 pts.wt., preferably 25-70 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. total quantity of (A)-(C). n COPYRIGHT: (C)1992,JPO&Japio
