abstract PURPOSE: To obtain the title composition containing a polyphenylene ether resin, triallyl cyanurate and epoxy resin at a specific ratio, having excellent chemical resistance, dielectric characteristics, heat resistance and flame retardant and useful in electric industry. n CONSTITUTION: The aimed composition consisting of (A) polyphenylene ether resin, (B) triallyl isocyanurate and/or triallyl cyanurate and (C) epoxy resin, containing 98-40 pts.wt. component A and 2-60 pts.wt. component B based on 100 pts.wt. of sum of the component A and component B and containing 99-1 pts.wt. components A+B and 1-99 pts.wt. component C based on 100 pts.wt. of sum of these components A to C.
