titleOfInvention External preparation for treating decubitus and skin ulcer
abstract PURPOSE: To obtain the title external preparation not only improving effectiveness as preparation but also reducing deterioration ratio, having alleviated skin irritation by blending hinokitiol (derivative) with an antiinflammatory drug. n CONSTITUTION: Hinokitiol or a derivative thereof is blended with a steroid-based or non-steroidal antiinflammatory drug in the ratio of 1:3 to 3:1. β- Glycyrrhetinic acid having antiinflammatory action and inhibitory actions on various bacteria and a derivative thereof are prepare are preferable as the antiinflammatory drug. Concentration of the components in the external preparation is 0.5-5.0wt.% hinokitiol and 0.5-2.0wt.% antiinflammatory drug. Even if hinokitiol stimulates the lesion, the antiinflammatory drug alleviates the stimulating action and hinokitiol in high concentration can be added. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1992,JPO&Japio
