abstract PURPOSE: To obtain the title composition having improved heat resistance and weather resistance, preventing choking, having improved physical properties by blending a rigid chlorine-containing resin with a specific amount of hydrotalcite compound treated with an aqueous solution of an inorganic copper compound and an aqueous solution of an alkali carbonate. n CONSTITUTION: 100 pts.wt. rigid chlorine-containing resin (e.g. PVC, chlorinated PE or vinyl chloride-ethylene copolymer) is blended with 0.001-5 pts.wt. hydrotalcite compound treated with an aqueous solution of an inorganic copper compound (e.g. cuprous chloride) and an aqueous solution of an alkali carbonate (e.g. sodium carbonate) to give the objective composition. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1992,JPO&Japio
