| abstract | PURPOSE:To make the use of expandable synthetic resin having normal expansion rate and, at the same time, the manufacture on line at good productivity possible by a method wherein a leakage-free expanding space is formed by a synthetic resin film bag, which is insertedly arranged inside a skin member. CONSTITUTION:A bag 7 is made so as to have a size in order to be able to lie nearly parallel to the shape of the inner surface of a skin member 2 and, at the same time, to be somewhat elastic. The bag 7 is inserted in the skin member 2. The opening edges 7a of the bag 7 are put upon the opening edges 5a and 5b of the skin member 2 and, when necessary, fixed together to each other by proper fixing means. Next, a core 3 is inserted through the opening 5 of the skin member 2 in the interior of the bag 7 in the skin member 2. Stems 4 are positioned at notches 6. The resultant assembly of the skin member 2, the bag 7 and the core 3 is arranged in a mold on a production line so as to pour expanding urethane stock liquid 8 having normal expansion rate through the opening 5 of the skin member 2 in the bag 7 under the condition that the core 3 is positioned by the stems 4. Thus, since an expanding space is enclosed by the bag 7, the expanding urethane stock liquid is expanded and hardened under leakage-free state of the stock liquid. |
