titleOfInvention | Highly moisture-permeable synthetic leather |
abstract | PURPOSE: To obtain the subject synthetic leather having high moisture permeability and high moisture absorbing and releasing properties without any stickiness by forming a film containing synthetic polyamino acid particles dispersed in a resin consisting essentially of a polyamino acid urethane resin on the surface of a synthetic leather substrate. n CONSTITUTION: The surface of a synthetic leather substrate composed of a nonwoven fabric composed of synthetic fiber, natural fiber, etc., and a polyurethane is coated with a dispersion prepared by dispersing synthetic polyamino acid particles, e.g. particles of poly-γ-methyl L-glutamate (having ≤20μm average particle diameter) in a solution of a synthetic resin consisting essentially of a polyamino acid urethane resin in an organic solvent and dried (coating and drying are repeatedly carried out) to afford a synthetic leather having high moisture permeability and high moisture absorbing and releasing properties without any sense of incompatibility with the skin. The aforementioned polyamino acid urethane resin is polyamino acid segments consisting essentially of poly-γ-methyl L-glutamate and the content thereof is preferably 3-85wt.% based on the weight of the above-mentioned urethane resin. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1992,JPO&Japio |
