abstract NEW MATERIAL:An aromatic allylamine compound expressed by formula I (R 1 to R 4 are H, 1-4C alkyl or halogen). n USE: A raw material for thermosetting type polyimide resins excellent in processability, heat resistance and mechanical properties. n PREPARATION: For example, 4,4'-diaminodiphenylmethane is reacted with allyl chloride in the presence of NaOH in dimethyl sulfoxide solvent to provide a compound having average 3 allyl groups.
