abstract PURPOSE:To upgrade flexibility and magnetic properties by disposing and molding a magnetic sheet composed of sufficient magnetic iron powder and thermoplastic resin of a specific physical properties mixed at the specified ratio on the upper faces of an engaging element group on one face of a base of surface fastener on the upper faces of both side ends of a base. CONSTITUTION:A number of engaging elements 2 are provided on one face and a base 1 of a surface fastener constituting a surface fastener member and embedded elements 3 on the other face of the same. Magnetic sheets 4 are disposed on both side ends of the upper face or on the surface of a film-shaped material 5, and the surfaces of engaging elements 2 of the surface fastener member are covered with the film-shaped material 5 for protecting the whole of the engaging element group. The magnetic sheet 4 is composed of soft iron powder and thermoplastic resin having 4000Kg/cm<2> or less bending modulus under the normal temperature, 300% or more tensile break strength, 20Kg/cm<2> or more tensile strength and 0.2 - 50 g/min. melt flow rate, and its thickness is 1.5 mm or less, and volume mixing ratio of soft magnetic iron powder is 15 - 45 volume %.
