abstract | PURPOSE: To prevent the increase of volume of a bond magnet, and obtain a bond magnet wherein the design of a magnetic circuit or the like is easy, by a method wherein, while a magnetic field is applied in the direction effectively parallel to the magnetizing direction when the bond magnet is used, a metal mold is filled with intimate mixture and solidified. n CONSTITUTION: Nylon 12 and zinc stearate are added, as binder, to neodymium- iron-boron alloy based quenching ribbon powder. These are mixed, kneaded, and cracked, thereby obtaining a pellet for injection mold. While a magnetic field penetrating from the inner diameter to the outer diameter is applied to an injection metal mold having a cavity by using an electromagnet, the pellet for injection mold is subjected to injection mold, thereby obtaining a bond magnet having a shape similar to the cavity. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1992,JPO&Japio |
