titleOfInvention | Production of chlorinated pyrazolecarboxylic acid derivative |
abstract | PURPOSE: To obtain the high-purity title compound by using sulfuryl chloride as a chlorinating agent when a specific pyrazole carboxylic acid derivative is chlorinated and making it possible to separate impurities contained in the starting raw material as a high-polar compound. n CONSTITUTION: When 5-pyrazole carboxylic acid compound expressed by formula I (R 1 to R 3 are lower alkyl) is chlorinated with sulfuryl chloride as a chlorinating agent, chlorinated product of 4-substituted 5-pyrazolecarboxylic acid compound expressed by formula II as impurities contained in the compound of formula I is separated and removed by hydrolysis and acid deposition to provide the objective compound expressed by formula III. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1992,JPO&Japio |
