abstract PURPOSE: To detect a feeble magnetic field emitted from a living body with high accuracy by forming an inner tank and an outer tank of a closed container in which a skid element and a pickup coil are installed by fiber reinforced plastic consisting of an organic fiber and an inorganic fiber of a low magnetization rate whose number of spins measured by an ESR method is below a prescribed number. n CONSTITUTION: An organic fiber and an inorganic fiber are low magnetization rate fibers whose number of spins per gram is ≤12, measured by ESR (electronic spin resonance). A skid element 1 and a pickup coil 2 are immersed into a freezing mixture K such as liquid helium, etc. filled in an inner tank 10. A cylindrical part, for instance, a drum part 13 of the inner tank 10 is impregnated with an epoxy resin, while winding the organic fiber onto a mandrel, and subsequently, impregnated with the epoxy resin, while winding the inorganic fiber thereon, and also, impregnated with the epoxy resin, while winding the organic fiber thereon, and thereafter, by repeating it, a cylinder in which the organic fiber and the inorganic fiber are mixed in a prescribed ratio is formed. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1992,JPO&Japio
