abstract PURPOSE: To obtain a fluorescent material having excellent adhesivity and capable of efficiently forming a high-precision pattern by attaching an organic compound having a specific maximum absorption wavelength to the surface of fluorescent particle. n CONSTITUTION: The objective fluorescent material is produced by attaching one or more kinds of organic compounds having a maximum absorption wavelength of 300-450nm and a molecular extinction coefficient of preferably ≥3,000l/ mol.cm at the wavelength, and selected e.g. from salicylic acid esters, benzophenone compounds, benzotriazole compounds, cyanoacrylates, nickel complexes and diazo compounds to the surface of a fluorescent particle made of zinc sulfide fluorescent material, Eu-doped yttrium oxide or oxysulfide fluorescent material, etc. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1992,JPO&Japio
