abstract |
PURPOSE: To obtain a filler for rubber compounds by adding coal as an auxiliary fuel to combustible industrial wastes and burning the resultant mixture. n CONSTITUTION: A fine powdery combustion ash filler is obtained by adding ≥30 pts. coal as an auxiliary fuel to 100 pts. combustible industrial wastes (e.g. paper waste or plastic waste) and burning the resultant mixture. The aforementioned filler has ≤50 μm particle diameter. The above-mentioned filler is usable in place of conventional reinforcing or extending fillers and more inexpensive than conventional products. The mixture is preferably burned by a method for a fluidized bed to provide combustion ash of an irregular shape increased in reinforcing effects as the filler. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1992,JPO&Japio |
