abstract | PURPOSE: To obtain an analgesic having excellent analgesic effects, containing bisucaberin, well-known as bisucaberin anti-cancer, derived from a microorganism, as an active ingredient. n CONSTITUTION: An analgesic containing bisucaberin shown by the formula as an active ingredient. An alkali metal salt such as sodium salt or potassium salt of bisucaberin or a salt such as acid addition salt of bisucaberin may be used as the active ingredient. When used, bisucaberin is blended with proper additives depending upon use of purpose and prepared. The analgesic is administered by orally, parenterally, in the rectum or locally. A dose is usually 10-3,000mg, preferably 100-1,000mg calculated as the active ingredient per adult daily.
