NEW MATERIAL:An oxime ether derivative shown by formula I (A is H, cyano or lower alkoxycarbonyl; Z is CH or N; R 1 and R 2 are lower alkyl, lower alkoxy, halogen, etc.; X is halogen, lower alkyl, etc.; n is 0, 1, 2 or 3). n EXAMPLE: 0-(4,6-Dimethoxypyrimidin-2-yl)-2,6-dichlorobenaldoxime. n USE: A herbicide and an agricultural and horticultural fungicide. n PREPARATION: For example, a benzaldehyde derivative shown by formula II is reacted with hydroxylamine hydrochloride in the presence of sodium hydrox ide to given a benzaldoxime, which is reacted with a pyrimidine derivative shown by formula IV (Y is halogen or methanesulfonyl) in the presence of sodium hydride to given compound shown by formula I. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1992,JPO&Japio |
