abstract | PURPOSE: To inexpensively obtain conjugate yarn comprising a copolyethylene terephthalate as a sheath component in subjecting polyethylene terephthalate and copolyethylene terephthalate to conjugate spinning, by directly feeding the polyethylene terephthalate to a spinning pack. n CONSTITUTION: A polyethylene terephthalate obtained by polymerizing terephthalic acid with ethylene glycol is fed from a continues polymerizer 1 to a spinning pack 6 without cooling and solidifying and a copolyethylene terephthalate prepared by copolymerizing polyethylene terephthalate with 5-sodium sulfoisophthalate, etc., and chipping are melted by a melting extruder 5, fed to the spinning pack 6 and spun in such a way the copolyethylene terephthalate partially exists on the surface of yarn to efficiently produce polyester-based conjugate yarn in a way of manufacturing many kinds and many grades with a small amount. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1992,JPO&Japio |
