titleOfInvention | Highly hot-water resistant transition metal-containing zeolite and production thereof |
abstract | PURPOSE: To improve hot water resistance, by subjecting specific zeolite to ion exchange treatment using a neutral salt of K and to ion exchange treatment using a neutral salt of transition metal. n CONSTITUTION: 5-50wt.% zeolite having ≥1μm crystal diameter and ≥10mol ratio of SiO 2 /Al 2 O 3 is blended with an aqueous solution 2-10 equivalent based on Al in zeolite of ammonia, treated at room temperature to 100°C for 1 hour to 3 days to remove an ion such as Na. Then the aqueous dispersion having 5-50% zeolite is incorporated with 1-30 equivalents based on Al in the zeolite of a neutral salt of K (e.g. Kcl), subjected to ion exchange treatment at room temperature to 100°C for 1 hour to 3 days, then mixed with ≤20 equivalents base on Al in the zeolite of a neutral salt of transition metal (e.g. CuCl 2 ) and subjected to ion exchange treatment at room temperature to 100°C for 3 days to give a transition metal-containing zeolite shown by molar ratio of oxide and by the formula (a is 0.2-1.0; b is 0-1.5; c is ≥10; d is arbitrary number; M is transition metal; n is valence of M). n COPYRIGHT: (C)1992,JPO&Japio |
