titleOfInvention Purification of cyclohexene
abstract PURPOSE: To obtain cyclohexene having extremely high purity by carrying out extractive distillation of crude cyclohexene containing methylcyclopentenes optionally after mixing the crude cyclohexene with cyclohexane. n CONSTITUTION: Cyclohexene having high purity can be produced from crude cyclohexene containing 0.01 to several tens % of methylcyclopentenes by carrying out extractive distillation of the crude cyclohexene using adiponitrile, sulfolane, N,N-dimethyl acetamide, dimethyl malonate, dimethyl succinate, etc., as an extractant, thereby removing methylcyclopentenes from the crude raw material. When the concentration of the methylcyclopentenes in the crude cyclohexene is low (0.01 to several %), the removal of methylcyclopentenes can be effectively performed by mixing the crude cyclohexene with cyclohexane. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1992,JPO&Japio
