titleOfInvention Production of light-resistant polyurethane foam
abstract PURPOSE:To easily obtain in high efficiency the title flexible polyurethane foam with high light resistance by reaction between each specific polyol component and polyisocyanate component in the presence of an alkali metal compound, tin carboxylate compound and alkanolamine compound. CONSTITUTION:The objective polyurethane foam excellent in expansion stability with low compression set can be obtained by reaction between (A) at least one kind of polyol compound 1,000 - 8,000 in average molecular weight and <=4 in the average number of functional groups and (B) at least one kind of polyisocyanate compound having at least one polyvalent organic group and two or more isocyanate groups with the isocyanate groups linked to the polyvalent organic groups without forming conjugated double bond system, in the presence of (1) an alkali metal compound (e.g. sodium hydroxide), (2) a tin carboxylate compound (e.g. tin caprylate dibutyltin dilaurate) and (3) an alkanolamine compound (e.g. monoethanolamine).
