titleOfInvention Suede-tone leather-like sheet and its production
abstract PURPOSE: To obtain the subject sheet having uniform and fine microcellular structure by impregnating a liquid produced by compounding a specific polyurethane solution with a cellulose ester into one-side raised knit fabric made of a polyester fiber, coagulating the liquid in wet state and grinding the surface. n CONSTITUTION: A textile base such as a one-side raised knit fabric made of 55d/168 filament polyester yarn is impregnated with a treating liquid produced by compounding 2-40 pts.wt. of a cellulose ester to a dimethylformamide solution of 100 pts.wt. of a yellowing-resistant polyurethane elastomer derived from an organic diisocyanate and a polyol composed mainly of a hydrophobic polyol, i.e. 1,6-hexanecarbonate polyol. The impregnated product is coagulated in wet state and the surface is ground to obtain the objective sheet. The treating liquid is preferably incorporated with 1-7 pts.wt. of an alkyl sulfosuccinate sodium salt, 1-10 pts.wt. of a modified silicone surfactant and 1-15 pts.wt. of a polyalkylene glycol ethylene oxide adduct as film-forming assistants. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1992,JPO&Japio
