abstract PURPOSE:To provide an optical element, in which no peeling is generated when a resin layer is cured and a completed optical element can be mold-released easily after the resin layer is cured completely, and a molding method and a molding equipment thereof. CONSTITUTION:In the molding equipment of an optical element, a mold member 12 with a molding surface 12b for transferring a specified surface shape on the surface of a resin layer 32 and consisting of a high molecular material satisfying undermentioned physical values such as hardness: >50 or >R70, an elastic modulus: 5000-35000kgf/cm<2>, a friction coefficient: <0.2, a water absorption coefficient: <0.3% and light resistance: unchangeable or slight changeable, is provided.
