titleOfInvention Production of hardened body of cement having high bulk specific gravity
abstract PURPOSE: To efficiently obtain a hardened body of cement, having a high bulk specific gravity and excellent in strength characteristics by centrifugally or press forming a cement composition containing an aggregate, etc., blended in specific blast furnace cement and curing the formed product. n CONSTITUTION: Blast furnace cement, containing 5-90wt.% granulated slam powder having 1000-2960cm 2 /g Blaine specific surface area, 5-9wt.% cement clinker powder and gypsum in an amount of 1-10wt.% expressed in terms of SO 3 and having 70-99wt.% total content of the granulated slam and cement clinker powder is used as a hydraulic binder, and an aggregate, etc., are then blended to provide a cement composition at ≤0.5 weight ratio of water/cement. The resultant cement composition is then centrifugally or press formed and cured to afford the objective hardened body of the cement. Although the granulate slag powder having ≥30000cm 2 /g Blaine specific surface area is widely used as a hydraulic material such as an admixture for the blast furnace cement, the granulated slag powder having the Blaine specific surface area below the aforementioned value has low hydraulic properties and is regarded as unsuitable as a hydraulic material. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1992,JPO&Japio
