titleOfInvention Transport and storage of wet maleimide
abstract PURPOSE: To perform the title transport and storage safely, simply, at a low cost by impregnating a solid maleimide with a specified amount of an organic solvent into a wet form to prevent said maleimide's fine powder from scattering. n CONSTITUTION: A maleimide in the form of powder, flakes or tablets [e.g. N-methyl maleimide, N,N'-(1,3-phenylene)bismaleimide] is impregnated with 1-10wt.% of an organic solvent such as aromatic hydrocarbon or α,β-unsaturated nitrile (e.g. benzene, acrylonitrile) into a wet form containing ≥90wt.% the solvent. This form is then put to the objective transport and/or storage. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1992,JPO&Japio
