abstract PURPOSE: To enhance graininess and lessen variation in quality at the time of application to printers by containing at least one kind of a specific Magenta coupler in a silver halide emulsion layer. n CONSTITUTION: At least one kind of a Magenta coupler expressed by a formula I and at least one kind of a Magenta coupler expressed by a formula II are contained in a silver halide emulsion layer. Here, R 1 , R 2 , R 3 , and R 4 respectively represent a hydrogen atom or substituent; X 1 , X 2 respectively represent a hydrogen atom, or a group separable due to reaction with an oxidant of a color developing agent.
