titleOfInvention | Production of porous sheet |
abstract | PURPOSE: To obtain a porous sheet having high voids and low pressure loss by retaining functional fine particles in a sheet in a state not to impair function of the functional fine particles. n CONSTITUTION: Functional fine particles (e.g. manganese dioxide or active carbon) is dispersed into water to give a dispersion, which is mixed with a fluororesin (e.g. polytetrafluoroethylene), the blend is mixed with an organic solvent (e.g. methyl alcohol) to co-aggregate the functional fine particles and the fluororesin and the aggregate is blended with ε-caprolactam until pt.wt. ratio reaches 40-80%. The blend is rolled in a solid or high-viscosity liquid state of ε-caprolactam and then burnt to remove ε-caprolactam. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1992,JPO&Japio |
