| abstract |
PURPOSE:To correctly secure the arrangement, and especially to make thickness of a urethane layer formed in the upper part of a continuous coil spring body constant by assembling a single line or plural lines of continuous coil springs stabilized in a shape and spring elasticity by a heat treatment. CONSTITUTION:A wind spring 1' is formed, and thereafter, it is contained in a U-shaped jig 3 having height H being lower than its initial spring height. The wind spring 1' contracted in such a way and contained into the jig 3 is subjected to heat treatment by an electric furnace together with this jig. in such a way, said spring is stabilized as a shape and as a spring characteristic in height H determined by the jig. |
