abstract PURPOSE: To provide an inorganic electrically conductive coating composition excellent in electric conductivity, transparency and solvent and scuff resistance and a method for producing an electrically conductive film using this composition. n CONSTITUTION: An electrically conductive coating composition containing an electrically conductive component and a solvent. In the aforementioned coating composition, the above-mentioned electrically conductive component is a siloxane-based polymer prepared by hydrolyzing and condensing a tetraalkoxysilane and vanadyl chloride and/or vanadium chloride and doped with vanadium. Furthermore, a method for producing an electrically conductive film by applying the composition onto a substrate surface and curing the formed film is provided. Since a dispersion of fine metallic oxide particles is not used as the electrically conductive component, the electrically conductive film excellent in both transparency and scuff resistance can be obtained. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1992,JPO&Japio
