titleOfInvention Production of allyl type amide
abstract PURPOSE: To produce an allyl type amide compound readily and efficiently without causing salt as a by-product by using a catalyst base composed of a Pd compound or platinum compound in the presence of an organic phosphorus compound and an allyl type alcohol as an allyl source. n CONSTITUTION: An amide compound (e.g. isocyanuric acid) containing at least one structure shown by formula I is reacted with an allyl type alcohol (e.g. allyl alcohol) shown by formula II (R 1 to R 5 are H or aliphatic hydrocarbon) by using a catalyst comprising a palladium compound [e.g. Pd(OCOCH 3 ) 2 ], an organic phosphorus compound [e.g. 1,4-bis(diphenylphosphino)butane or triphenylphosphinel or an platinum compound [e.g. PtCl 2 (PPh 3 ) 3 ] and an organic phosphorus compound as a catalyst to give an allyl type amide such as triallyl isocyanurate extremely efficiently and inexpensively without causing salt as a by-product. In this method, the allyl type amide itself can be used as a solvent and economically operations are further simplified. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1992,JPO&Japio
