titleOfInvention 3,4-dichlorophenylalkylamine and agricultural and horticultural fungicide
abstract PURPOSE: To obtain a new readily producible 3,4-dichlorophenylalkylamine having bacteriostatic action or germicidal action on pathogenic bacteria of agricultural and horticultural disease damage, having high stability, not exerting phytotoxicity. n CONSTITUTION: A 3,4-dichlorophenylalkylamine shown by formula I (n is 0 or 1; m is 1-3 with the proviso that a case wherein n=0 and m=1 is omitted) such as N-3,4-dichlorobenzyl-N-2-(3,4-dichlorobenzyloxy)ethylamine. A compound wherein m=1 among the compounds shown by formula I, for example, is obtained by reacting an alcohol shown by formula II with a compound shown by formula III in the presence of a base to give a compound shown by formula III and then reacting this compound with 3,4-dichlorobenzylamine. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1992,JPO&Japio
