abstract PURPOSE: To obtain a medical material exhibiting high organic compatibility stably for a long time and with excellent safety by holding fat melting vitamin through macromer having a hydrophobic part on the surface of a base material composed of a polymer having a functional group. n CONSTITUTION: A lipophilic vitamin is held on the surface of a base material composed of a polymer having a functional group through a macromer having a hydrophobic part. The polymer composing the base material uses those with a repeating unit having a functional group. The functional group herein used is, for example, a hydroxyl group, amino group, carobxyl group, epoxy group or aldehyde group. Among those, a polymer having the hydroxyl group as functional group herein used is a reproduction cellulose or a cellulose derivative.
