titleOfInvention | Leather-like sheet material having nubuck tone and its production |
abstract | PURPOSE: To provide a nubuck-tone leather-like sheet material having good surface smoothness, excellent softness and feeling, uniform, stable and fine oblong sponge structure and excellent hydrolysis resistance, giving beautiful appearance and moist and slimy feeling by rubbing the surface and suitable as a leather-like sheet material for furniture and vehicle and to provide a process for producing the sheet material. n CONSTITUTION: A two ply yarn having a yarn count number of 20 and produced by blending a polyester fiber and a rayon fiber is woven to obtain a twill textile substrate. The substrate is coated with a liquid polyurethane elastomer composition produced by compounding 5 pts. of a sulfosuccinic acid di-2-ethylhexyl ester sodium salt, 9 pts. of a polyether-modified silicone oil and 7 pts. of a polypropylene glycol ethylene oxide adduct to a dimethylformamide solution of a yellowing-resistant polyurethane elastomer composed mainly of 1,6-hexane carbonate polyol. The coating layer is coagulated in wet state and the surface is ground with a sand paper to obtain the objective nubuck-tone leather-like sheet material. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1992,JPO&Japio |
