titleOfInvention | Production of steel wire for gas shielded arc welding |
abstract | PURPOSE: To produce the wire for welding which is imparted with high tensile strength, prevents the frequent generation of spatters, stabilizes arcs and is improved in feedability by removing the lubricant which remains on the surface of the steel wire for welding and is unfavorable to welding workability. n CONSTITUTION: A raw wire is drawn by using a lubricant contg. one or ≥2 kinds among calcium stearate, barium stearate and sodium stearate which are Ca, Na, Ba sources in a drawing stage. After the surface of this wire is subjected to high-pressure washing by using a grinding agent and alkaline surfactant, the lubricating oil is applied thereon. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1992,JPO&Japio |
