titleOfInvention Production of molded urethane foam
abstract PURPOSE: To produce a molded urethane foam having a highly dense surface skin without using any blowing agent containing F and Cl by reacting an isocyanate with a polyol, a specified catalyst, a blowing agent, assistants, etc., in a mold. n CONSTITUTION: A catalyst is obtained from at least one member selected from the group consisting of a morpholine compound, a piperazine compound, an imidazole compound comprising an imidazole ether compound and/or a 1- substituted imidazole compound, a triazine compound and an amidine compound. An isocyanate, a polyol containing 20-70wt.% polyester polyol having an average functionality of 2.0-2.5, a hydroxyl value of 40-100 and an acid value of 2.0 mgKOH/g or below, the catalyst, a blowing agent comprising water or a water- absorptive resin, assistants, etc., are poured into a mold and reacted in one shot to obtain the title molding. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1992,JPO&Japio
